Mac sound failure
Thanks. I have reinstalled the old memory (1x 128Mb, 2x32Mb all PC64DIMMS) - still no dice though. I've had some startup problems since this too, and can't boot from a CD - stops when the startup ribbon has gone about 1cm (I was going to re-install OS9.0).- lauriebrett

Mac sound failure
After intalling some RAM, I've lost all sound on my beige G3 - not even a startup chime. In the sound control panel the selection options for Input and Output are missing, and alerts don't work. What's going on here? Laurie Brett- lauriebrett
