Thank You very much - I realised that some helpful soul had 'played' with In Design before me (suspect son he has a shifty eye) and had made some paragraph rules... i think I got it now but thank you so very much, to respond to a stranger's cry is Samaritan in the extreme and I appreciate it...- lardlad

Odd lines after return input
Hi - changing over from Quark to InDesign so excuse my naivete; on imported text a grey, horizontal line appears after every return and cannot be removed - if you delete the return the line disappears, if the return is replaced, so is the line... Any ideas?- lardlad
