Tony, you still da man! It worked, but I wonder what set it off - that printer was gone for months before the behavior started (probably some &*^#@$& windows update).

Thanks - all of my printers are network ones. I do have one that's MIA but it was gone long before this happened. I'll remove it anyway and give that a shot.
(Good to see you still kickin' too, Tony)

Using fully patched XP-Pro and Paradox 9 (patched too).
When I click on menu controls (button or drop-down) in native Paradox I get a 3-5 second delay before the action occurs. This started a while back and has been annoying me for some time - I've not changed machines or added any resident...
What software is the dialog box from? If it's from Norton or some other virus checker you can probably exclude that specific executable file in it's settings. If it is IExplorer causing the problem, you can try lowering the security settings in the Internet Options (Caution, this may leave you...
If the lookup is on a single field, then a drop-own list might be an option.
Even if the list is automatically populated by a table, it is relatively easy to add items to that table using a little code; so if the user types in a value that doesn't currently appear in the list, it is available...
That's what I was afraid of, but I thought I'd take a shot anyway.
Thanks,
Mac :-)

NEWBIE QUESTION
Is there any way to change the appearance of the browser in PHP or HTML (NOT Javascript - it's turned off in our environment). Specifically, I'd like to lose the toolbars and menu if possible.
Thanks,
Mac :-)

You can also create a button using the expert and select the default graphic. Right-click the graphic on the new button and choose 'Paste From', then browse to the image you want.

I think Tony is on the money here.
You might also look at the command-line in the shortcut you copied to see if a specific idapi configuration file is being loaded. If so, make sure the new workstation has access to the directory where that file resides.

I go a little further and use:
setfocus
doDefault
menuAction(MenuPropertiesZoomBestFit)
-----------------------
menuaction
if eventInfo.id() = MenuControlSize
then doDefault
self.sizeToFit = True
endif
------------------------
close
if not isMaximized() then...
I have no idea what he means. Pop-ups are usually HTML documents.
Pop-up menus (i.e. right-click context menus), if that is what he's talking about can be done easily in Paradox.
Tool-tips (pop-up help text) can also be done easily in Paradox.

Sounds like you need to re-create the report. That is not typical behavior.

I can't imagine why this is happening to you unless the field itself is not a numeric field type. You say it is in integer 'format', and that usually is an indication of a display setting rather than a field type.
When you right click the table and choose InfoStructure, what type of field does...
Never heard of this one before.
Try running the report, then selecting the individual field filters (right-click and pick filter). Remove the filters and then return to design mode and save the report.

I wouldn't change anything unless you see a problem. The default behavior is usually more than adequate.
