Hi All,
Does anyone know of a way to set the export location - i.e. the directory the save as dialog box goes to - when using the export button on the crviewer?
For instance, if I need to export multiple reports, I have to re-navigate to my target destination for each report instead of having...
Hi all,
I've developed an app using VB6, CR 8.5 developer with the RDC selected.
I'd like to be able to set a default target destination when a user clicks the export button in the crviewer.
Right now, when a user clicks the export button, it goes into a default temp directory (on W2K) and...
Hi Jim,
The export button is enabled on the viewer, and when I click on it I get the option to choose the output format. But, when I select .doc for example, the app closes.

doevents...
Jim,
Thanks for your response.
My point was that the book is GREAT for stand alone reporting...I can't argue with that. There is tons of information if you're using Crystal by itself.
Where it lacks is in the programming section. You can't call a book a "complete" reference if it...
Hi All,
I've been going through various threads trying to figure out some things with Crystal/VB6. I have seen a lot of reference made to the above book by George Peck. Well, I went out and bought the book. Here is my review.
The short version: It's a waste of money if you need a reference...
