for a new building we want to upgrade our sopho 3030 for use with VoIP (ergoline@net phones). disclaimer
thnx for yr input, but altering the mail template is what i want to avoid, only a disclaimer for messages which leave the local notes domain. email scanners slow down performance. I presume there is no standard domino solution, i'l try to live with it. thnx -

Lost User ID
to keep it all under control and avoid problems generated by users themselves we have a policy to distribute 2 id's, 1 to the user, 1 filed with an initial password. whenever users loose there password or laptop's get lost etc... we have the id for the user whenever it's not stored in nab -
disclaimer
Does someone know how to put a disclaimer on every message what goes out. I am not happy with the solution to alter the mail templates or put text in the signature, users do not have to put this text in local mail, also preference is that text can not be changed or deleted thnx y'all for reply :-) -
Veritas Backup Exec
i agree with Lamaar, arcserve works very stable, for critical backup we installed an additional (low end machine) server which replicates nsf files who are constantly in use, the rep schedule allows arcserve to backup those files on the additional server when not in use. it is allways a safe... -
Groupshield not scanning signed mails
We are facing lots of problems with mcafee, I would suggest to get rid of it and take a look at Norton's variant which does the job very well -
