Yes, this is possible. I would normally open the server copy (xx.nsf)and then create new replica in local. With that you would have a proper link for both server and local copy of the database file (xx.nsf). Is this what you want??- kristinhau

Backing up Lotus emails
Hi, You may found the user mail file usually at c:\Lotus\Notes\Data with the mailfile called names.nsf. This is provided the user's mailfile is stored locally in his/her PC.
