    I had left a stop action uncommented out from an older piece of AS at the very beggining of the level 0. 5 hours trawling through the script thinkin it was something altogether more enigmatic, and its a bloody stop action!! School boy error. Sorry old newbie ! K

    Flash embedds your movie, doesn't it? and there are no perameters in this SWFObject for setting autoplay, so this isn't the nature of the problem. I must not have explained myself accuratly, appologies all K
