IDENTIFYING AND UPDATING TEXT FIELDS WITH * PART NUMBERS
If this data is in a database, you can get all the records with an astrick marker using an SQL statement like this: SELECT * FROM tblParts WHERE PartModel LIKE '%*' ORDER BY PartModel This will return anything that has this format -- 123* abc* but not items like this *123 ab*c James Lindën...- KodeKrash

This script should work for you without any changes, although you will probably want to tweak it a bit. One note for you is this: Avoid using multiple ASP delimiters within a script, as it forces the server to work harder.
