    ok thats great information. ill read up on it, it looks like i have the fastethernet0/0 configured wrong. in all the nat examples it shows an internal ip address, i have an external on mine. when i change it though it takes down the internet. am i not looking in the right place?

    our router crashed and there wasnt hard copy of the router config. i have the t-1 up and running but im having a hard time figuring out how to map an external ip address to an internal ip address for the use of exchange webaccess. i know you can do a: ip route xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 255.255.255.255...

    well see now what does that mean. ive always used 4.2.2.1 4.2.2.2 for dns. i tried adding the ip of the pdc but that didnt really speed anything up. so i had 192.168.1.10 4.2.2.1 4.2.2.2 the pdc has active directory setup with default dns settings. the only other thing i read was the netbio...

    its actually loading personal settings... and its about 10 to 15 mins.

    after a user logons to the network they get the applying user settings window for about 5 mins. is there a quick and easy way to speed this up? win2k server w/ active directory win2k stations xp pro stations
