Memory Question.
My MB supports the dual channel but only on one set of slots .. right now i have 512 (2 x 256's) in the slots. If I but 1 gig of the dual put it in that slot and put the other 2 256's in also is that gonna slow the dual channel in the main slots ? Gigabyte 8knxp p4-2.6 ht- klyjr

PC Shutting down on Boot.
AMD 1.6 A7nbx-e N-Force 2 pc- 2100 enermax 475watt pwr supply. Ok MB and Pwr supply are new. I can sit in the bios all day long and the PC will stay on. As Soon as I try and boot to windows the computer shuts off. If I try load windows from the the cd its copys all the neede boot files...- klyjr
