    I would check that permissions are not assigned to 'everyone' on any of the objects, i.e. on the actual DL or the server etc.

    I don't know of a way to stop users giving access to their mailbox; however do you mean that users can view anyone's mailbox? If so check the permissions on the information store, someone may have inadvertently given 'everyone' permission to view the priv.edb

    I know this is a bit late... why not use EXMERGE.exe from the resource kit? Exmerge can delete any items from selected mailboxes without having to open each one individually. This is also useful if your mailstores happen to get clogged up by a virus.
