What I want to do is combine 2 columns into one. The account number is split into 2 columns which ought to be combined into one . it was sent as a text file originally

I have created a dateModified field to a table & onto the form.
I created a macro ..action: Setvalue ; Item: datemodified
expression : Now() & used the BeforeUpdate event.
However the date only appears when a new record is added & not when a field is edited. Pls help!
