No, I did not have to add the user of guest to the Win98 machine. Just enable the guest account on the win2000 box, reset the password to a blank password and don't forget to share the folder or drive on the win2000 machine.- kewllll

internet options will not open anywhere!
I just purchased a used Win98 computer. There are some sites that it will not allow me to visit. When I tried to set the content advisor, I found that when I clicked on internet options, that a box flashes then goes away, I have tried accessing it from the control panel also but to no avail. Oops!..I should have said: Try enabling the guest access on the Windows 2000 machine and re-set the password of guest to "blank". This is what I have to do to get my win98 terminals seeing the windows 2000 computer.- kewllll
