    CommVault knowledge base and forum update

    I agree there support website is ok for downloads but the knowledge base sucks. I always have to call or e-mail to get an answer to a problem. The good news is that the knowledge base they use must be good because I usually get a respond back within a few hours with the fix.

    any issues with 2 instances of SQL on commserver

    I wouldn't have anything else on the commserver. The commserver can eat-up a lot of resource. Also, you need to think about updates. What if you update CommVault and it updates your SQL installation. It could have corrupt your sharepoint databases. Just some thing to think about.
