Due to a proxy at this client, I need to change the user credentials associated with the live update process to get through the proxy server. I have configured the process to run under the desired user and password however it doesn't seem to be helping with the live update. When i log on to...
Something happened and I can log into the SBS via RDP and at the console using administrator, however when I try to log into OWA, Remote Web Workplace, Terminal Server 2003r2, and domain PC's administrator, i get access denied or incorrect password.
I am able to logon to all of these resources...
I have two offices connected though an IPSEC tunnel. Both offices have full t-1's to the internet. I have Snapgear routers at both locations.
The users in the remote office complain that outlook goes into "disconnected from exchange server" state a lot. I have seen drive mappings and other...
We have been utilizing microsoft's powertool; SYNCTOY to synchronize files between two servers across a router based VPN tunnel. Over the past year it appears the network VPN stalls and synctoy cannot handle it and deletes the files on the "running" side. Excerpt of the log:
"Error: The...
The reseller is useless. He has been unable to assist in the most simple issues. They hired me to come in to resolve this. I don't have access to the Sage documentation. Thanks
We are having two issues:
I am unable to get the MAS90 to work on a terminal server unless I grant the users Administrator Privs. Any tweaks / configuration parmaters I should look at?

I have a multi office IPSEC VPN setup with PPTP connections to both routers. The problem router is a Netopia 9100, the other router is a Netopia 7200.
I used to be able to connect via a windows XP (home) to the Netopia 9100, in fact I did so this morning.
The series of events is as follows...

How bad of an idea is it?
We have an office of 30 people and a 5 user terminal server to support remote and traveling users. They do not wish to upgrade to office 2003 nor want the remote users to have a different "version" of...
I don't think offline folders will work as the machines are not logging into the domain server.
I'm guessing I need to write a script which will connect to the servers fileshare with credentials, synchronize the files, and disconnect.
I'm evaluating syncEXP as it can be scheduled and run...
Will robocopy synchronize files which are changing and both sides, or do I need to perform xcopy's /d 's both ways. PCAnywhere will move the delta's in both directions.
I can't find any case studies or documentation on robocopy which supports this.
I have a remote office with no fileserver. We have been depending on utilizing PCAnywhere File Transfer facility to synchronize files (total file size to be less than 500MB, daily change rate to be less than 10MB).
PCAnywhere has been difficult as of late, first, when it runs it takes almost...
mhkwood,
Great diagnostic work. That indeed was the problem and solution.
I set the MTU size to 1400 at the remote office and they are connecting without the need of the extra VPN clients.
Thank you.
