Hi - yeah we've tried going into the interface we're patched in to and using "port monitor fa0/3" for example where 3 is the port we want to monitor. No joy using Sniffer Pro though.

I've had a repair guy (friend of a friend) have a quick look at it and it looks like it is a daughter-board causing the problem. His guess is that the problem is being caused by solder joints. Could be that yours has the same thing? Hope this is of help.

We've found a solution to the problem - MS have a Q article on it: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;319759 Forward unresolved recipients doesn't work - you have to use a shared SMTP domain name space. Hope this is of help to someone else in the future. Regards.
