Recovery/Installation Problems
I am working on a Compaq computer Athlon xp 2200 256mbs DDR. If I try to run recovery after recovery starts, screen flashes and monitor shuts off. If I try to intall windows XP Pro from a xp installation cd it frezzes at the point where it's about to load to windows then same thing monitor flash...- KenTech01

Modem Issue
working on a Gateway Astro with dual boot win98 & winxp with an internal/onboard motorola SM56 modem. I am getting a error popup that say 'incompatible modem codec detected please check your modem card' I close the message and I see the modem in device manager when I do a diagnostic it says...- KenTech01
