I cannot figure out what is causing sql to recycle itself. The logs are as follows...
1. Using dbghelp.dll
2. SqlDumpExceptionHaldler: Process 12656 generated fatal exception c0000005 EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION Sql Server is terminating this process.
3. Stack Signiture for the dump is...
All that was deleted was a connection. All the reports that were set up to use the universe while it was on that connection are broken. We tested this yesterday and saw the same behavior.
I have some published documents that point to a connection that has been deleted. Everything I have done to try to change the connection has failed, because it cannot connect to the db to even choose a new data provider. Is there a way to do this?

I am using Webi. I used her login from my machine and got the same error. The universe is inherited from the group, so all users should have the same results right?
I have a user in a group that tries to create a report and keeps getting an "Invalid Column Name" error. Other users in the same group are not getting this error and she is set up exactly the same. Any ideas?

We are using a vendor that will not allow us to add a table. All we are allowed to do is use a view. We have to go in for each group and for each table in each universe and add a restriction.
Does anyone have any idea of something that makes setting up the row level security any easier? I am doing a lot of redundant work. The same where clause on every table in the universe. Has anyone interfaced with the SDK to do anything like what I am wanting to do? Any input will be helpful...
I am trying to create a variable based on an if in.
If(number in ("1","2"),"0","1") but this is appartly not the correct sytax. Is there an easy way to do this?
