CableMonkey,
Were you able to complete this project. I am starting the integration of Intuity and Unity. Could you explain to me how did you integrated this two devices. Cisco is telling me that I need a PMG box with digital port terminations. This is not an issue but I am still failing to...
I need to upgrade one of our sisters company G3Si. I am looking at the S8500 because of size, but have two questions. Can I use the existing SCC1 carriers with S8500?
Can I have a configuration of dual S8500 control (like the S87XX)?
Thanks for any feedback!
Start by creating a callmaster station. Then decide if the configuration is going to be roadwarrior(VOIP) or telecommuter. If it is roadwarrior, remember to create and assign a media extension. Now go and configure this station on IP agent. Once again, if it is roadwarrior configuration, select...
Dude I've had this problem berore and it is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Since you allready changed headsets (most common problem)change all wiring (from wall jack to headset)and if you can, status the station while in a static call and get the trunk being utilized. Test this trunk...
Yes! I allready have these two sites DCS to a third site. I just want to close the triangle. I know that I need to create a DCS trunkgroup but is that all?
Great!I visited the options you mentioned and AVAYA did not do anything on this so I made the changes (I also found a doc on how to configure the com pro form). One question, do I have to reboot CMS after the changes? I tried to pumpup translations after changes via maintenance>ACD Stats but...
I am connecting one of my sister's company G3R PBX to my CMS. I am going thru a pair of firewalls and the WAN. I am able to ping the PBX from CMS and CMS from the PBX but can't get the CMS link up. I did some snooping and found out that all my PBXs have traffic on port 5001 (this is the...
I got you! let me ask you this; if a user dials "0", how can I point that 0 to pass extension 12345. I tried translations and masking but it did not work. If I dial "0#" I get the avaya operator inmediately. I need to find a way to make this happen automatically.
iptuser you nail it on the head! I was able to bring down the inter digits timeout. My route pattern for 0 is "0", I tried 0! but it did not work. I still have like a 5 second delay but I will try using a translation to see if it works. Thanks for your help!
Good Idea, I will verify if the "0" on the AVAYA PBX is set up to route to a VDN and try a translation to that VDN on the CCM side. Thanks for the suggestion! I will keep you informed of the results!
There are no other route patterns with "0". The users needs to dial "9" to reach my AVAYA G3R PBX for outbound calls. If I dial a "0" on a cisco phone, CCM reaches the tie trunk to the G3R but waits about 12 seconds to pass the "0" which eventually gets me to the operators. I hope this help.
I am a newbie in ccm. I integrated a CCM with an AVAYA G3R. My operators are on the G3R and I need to configure the "0" route pattern in CCM to reach my G3R. I did it but it appears that CCM has a time delay of about 12 seconds (wainting for more digits I guess) before it routes the call. How...
