Stella,
Be careful with PCMCIA cards, the one you are looking at is a Cardbus or Type 2 card (32 bit device), some older Laptops only support Type 1 (16 bit device) PCMCIA cards. Check your spec's before you order.
I remember seeing a thread about this in the last several months but can't find...
INArtCtr,
Have her goto www.comcast.net and log into her Web Mail Box. This is where all of the mail sits before OE downloads it. In Comcast have her check her Preferences for the Spam Filter and Restrict Incoming Email (a White List). She may have set a Block there.
I have the OE setup to...
appleone,
From the date of your BIOS (7/15/95) it dosen't sound like your MoBo is Y2K compliant. Your clock should be reading year 192x or there abouts. If there is not a newer Bios I would use this system for a door stop.

dcloud,
If you have the WinXP Home CD you can boot from that and use the commands FIXMBR and FIXBOOT, if you have an MBR infection this should clear it up without distroying the Partitions on the HD.
If there is no infection it won't hurt anything.
