Gotcha
here is my issue, I have 2 email servers 1 hosted by our web host (mydomain.com) and 1 exchange internal to our office. our internal also sends email with (mydomain.com) but since the rDNS for Mydomain.com points to the hosted email, Emails sent from the internal Email server sometimes...
Thanks for the response. So I am guessing that I have to add the ip address to my DNS provider Network Solutions?
I do not think that I need a secondary MX record as it is only sending mail not receving?
or am I just confused.
I have 2 Email Servers, 2 different IP address and 1 domain name. My question is can you have 2 IP's in a Domian Mx record so both IP's will pass the reverse DNS test? Since only 1 is assocated the other fails to pass through some spam filters.
Thanks
what I have found with this POS software is that you have to copy your license file to very PC and server in order for it to work properly. This includes if you use their deployment tool. The license file "ca.olf" is located in
C:\Program Files\CA\SharedComponents\CA_LIC
Make sure all...

when it comes to lotus notes I am a complete noob. I have spent weeks on trying to speed up our server. we only use it for database with forms. no email clients or anything else. I was able to clean up the database to get is down to 800mb from 1.2 gig.
That did not really solve the problem...
Just make sure you have your firewall configured correctly, and point the requsts to your server. then just access your server from outside using a web browser. basicly the link would be your wan ip address /exchange
I don't know. It not causing any problems. my 3 web sites and exchange and ftp and terminal server are all working with no issues. I just hate seen the system log full message
after installing windows 2000 server, updating all service packs and fixs. I ran configure your server. In there I selected AD. While AD was installing it ask me if I wantted to set up DNS or let the system do it for me. I let it do it for me.
