    It's most likely a TLS issue. The SL1100 cannot be upgraded beyond TLS 1.0. It's been EOL and EOD for a very long time now.

    Do you connect with PCPro or WebPro? With PCPro, the login screen will say CP10 or CP20. With WebPro, once you login, you can see the software level. From there you can check if that is a CP10 or CP20 Version. We pulled our NEC, so I can't get more specific on this one.

    You need to create a virtual extension. Set it up to call forward all to the external number. In the menu, set a dial action to the new virtual. This will tie up two lines for the entirety of the conversation. Call quality is not always great with POTS lines.

    NEC SL1100 VE Ringing Key

    The SL1100 has been EOS/EOL for many years now. It was never updated to allow "hidden" keys past 24. To put a call cover key for a virtual extension on a phone, you have to use a buttons 1 - 24. There is no workaround.

    Have you tried the upload via WebPro instead of PCPro? There was an issue with this some years ago that was fixed, but with the way things are going right now, I wouldn't be surprised it it was reintroduced.

    Could you explain in more detail what you mean? Are you trying to overflow one ring group to a secondary group?
