It's been very hot here in SoCal the past week or so...I have an extra computer down in the garage and it would not start up the past few days. When you press the power button, you can hear the power supply kick in, fan start up, hard drive spinning,etc.--and then it just shuts down.

1) the error i'm getting today is:
ERROR COPYING FILE OR FOLDER...Cannot create or replace "filename": Access is denied. Make sure disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not in use.

I cannot open any links in Outlook anymore...I'll get the Locate Link Browser screen--if Internet Explorer was either open or closed I'd still be able to get the link, but not anymore.

thanks for your help, everybody...unfortunately, i'm still having problems here. deleted the items, as instructed, in HijackThis, then when I ran the TrendMico virus scan all of the pop-ups came back...what to do?? I've tried running all of these apps in safe mode, to no avail...what to do???

I'm having trouble removing a "Downloader.Exploit.64" virus...I've tried using Norton Anti-Virus, Ad-Aware, Spybot, AVG Anti-Spyware, XoftSpySE, Spyware Doctor, & Spyware Terminator---all to no avail. I've tried all of these in Safe Mode as well, still with no luck.
Pop-ups and more pop-ups...
I'm trying to delete 2 messages that have been sitting in my Outlook Outbox for 2 days now...I'm assuming the files are too big--one is 12mb and the other is 17mb. I've tried using shift-delete to no avail...not sure how to fix--do i need to create another .pst? please advise. thanks!!
