Actually, it was due to Adobe Acrobat 8.0 adding the icons in the Outlook toolbar to convert to PDF. Somehow, that screwed up the calendar. Once we removed and reinstalled Acrobat without adding the icons into Outlook, then the users could accept meeting notices without a problem.
