Hi PHV: Sorry - I didn't include SQL because I'm looking for a general approach that I can apply to 3 different types of queries. IOW, I was looking for: "When I need totals for different groupings to appear in the same record, I use a DSum calculation in a totals query..." or something like...- kagard
