    Data Error - CRC

    I had this exact problem. I cleaned the drive 10 times in a row (NO JOKE) and it didn't work! What did work was changing the compression from Hardware to Software in the backup job settings. I think the default is Hardware(otherwise Software if available). Good Luck! Jane Whitman

    Me again! I just realized why my route command isn't holding. Apparently Winnt does not like the way I did the route add command. I did a route add 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 ###.###.###.### (being a router ip address). Only using this because I was told to. Is there a problem with using 0.0.0.0...

    SQL server backup with Veritas 8.0 exec

    Route add command in Windows 98

    Help, I have a WinNt machine that I want to permanently route to an IP address. I use the -p and when I reboot and do a 'route print' the list is cleared. I basically have to reroute everytime I reboot the machine. I'd rather not do a batch file. Any ideas. Thanks in advance, Jane
