Thank you both I had no idea and apologize it was something so easy!
Markus4 - I'm not sure what the "strg" is, but I located the view on the menu bar.
Gruuuu - yes, exactly; my brain wasn't processing the source as a formula. Time to go back to Excel 101!
Thanks again for sharing and not...
Greetings.
I'm using Excel 2007, in case it matters for the situation.
In dealing with a workbook made up of 42 different worksheets, there are many cross populations occurring in that one piece of cell data will be used in a formula to feed a value and that value used in another worksheet...
Like some other posts refer to, it has something to do with linked objects. Go into the Link Manager (by selecting a linked object and right clicking on it for the drop down menu and picking Link Manager) and then select each item individually, clicking on OK and see what the system tells you...
Thanks for the reply. I’m presuming you are referring to the “where” condition, commonly built by the wizard with the stLinkCriteria variable. The problem is, the edit pop-up doesn’t have any data to match; and if the table is used as the source, then the string match has to be the project and...
Greetings.
I’m very stuck on this and I’m sure it’s easy (based on what I’ve recently read)... but obviously things are beyond my skills or my environment is actually different. (I'm sure it's me.)
Using MSAccess 2002.
I have a table of Project Meetings [OTM], containing project number [PNUM...
Thanks Leslie,
Indeed all of that data (except the meeting dates/attendees) is in place and linked together. I just apparently went brain-dead in my rush not to think of a meeting table by itself. I guess I was trying to cram everything together, of course a no-no.
Thanks for the tip and...

Project number, Mtg-1 Date, Mtg-1-Attendee1, Mtg-1-Attendee2, Mtg-1-Attendee3, Mtg-1-Attendee4
(Up to 20 …)
Mtg-20 Date...
HiTech:
I want to do this because we have database updating and reporting that starts at 0300 and needs to email reports. The workstations are locked via corporate group policy. Because of the object model guard, Outlook puts up the "a program is trying to send on behalf of..." and so things...
Greetings all!
I am looking for a way to programmatically unlock a workstation from a MS Access application.
Scenario: workstation is locked (Ctrl-Alt-Del/lock computer) and this application would be run from scheduler in background to “log in” as the person to unlock the computer, allowing...

If LOS = 2 Or LOS = 3 Then
MsgBox "Database is not available at this time."
Quit
End If
I use a Pop-up form (completely black with a white box in the middle and bold red text) and have the pop-up status checked with every opening of the database.
Thanks PHV -- we're not allowed to run unapproved applications, but I'm having central group look at Redemption.
Thanks also pullingteeth -- I can't seem to adapt the straight VB code into VBA usable in my MSA database.
I appreciate the replies!

Greetings.
Okay, this is really a really out there type of issue. Please be gentle in any replies…
Background: Running MS Access 2002, running tons of macros to update data and then generating reports. These updates run at various points after midnight until the big push with the reports...
