if you have access to their commserve you could potentially use the commcell migration feature to import certain clients that are associated with that tape.
if no access then you would need to look into using media explorer - or potentially a third party.

So i'm assuming that the re-install didn't fix the problem...?
Does it make any difference what server you point the owa client to? What if you point owa to connect directly to the backend server?
You may need to consider installing/configuring the exchange web proxy agent for exdm.

are all of the stores mounted? in order for the logs to be truncated all info stores must be mounted at the time of backup. - there should be an associated err in the app evt log that gives some details on why the truncation didn't happen....
well - i guess i should've checked this beforehand - but the reason the alerts were failing is because commvault is not adhering to smtp specs and is sending bare linefeeds.
We had this problem in 5.9 and a patch was issued - we were also told that the fix was already rolled into 6.1.

I just upgraded the CS and MA's to 6.1.
So far i've noticed the following problems:
1. Mediamanager is crashing (drwtsn) on the CS.
2. None of the alerts/reports that are scheduled to be sent are going
through. Fails with error "7416 10d4 08/24 11:00:29 ######
