The remote angents are at 8.5 but it has always worked fine up until now. Do I need to take all of the servers offline to upgrade the remote agents? So you are saying that I should only focus on the larger containers- C drive D drive... etc? thanks!!!

THANK YOU so much for getting back to me. My backup server is Veritas 8.6- and yes it is the only server backup which is backing up the servers remotely. It has two tape drives on it and I am going to add a third. Does this help?

After looking at the job log- everything is backed up within 2 hrs... but it still says running HOURS AND HOURS LATER until it says "failed"
