you could still use Acronis True Image, just need the universal restore tool from acronis, that allows you restore an image for all different types of pcs.
Yes it is, in fact everythging was working fine until i decided to backup my vmwares to tape. When I restored my vmwares that's when i can not logon to my doamain controller, that's when I get that error i mentioned before

what happens if i want to generate my own computer names
i want to give each computer a unique name like pc-1, pc-2, pc-3 and so forth. keep in mind that i only created one image for the 100 computers. how would it be created when i deploy the image.
