I need to add a column to a sql statement that will give me a running total by group
sql is
selct item, week, sum(qty)
group by item, week
The column will need to add qty as a running total for each item for each week
Any ideas
I have a pdf report that I need to generate in an Access 2000 database at the end of a report.
Can I run the pdf at the end of the access report or is there a way to import the pdf into an Access report?

I want to print a tems and conditions footer at the break of each invoice. This is held as a Word Document.

I have a Maintenance plan on a database that
1)Backs up the database
2)backs up the transaction log
3)Optimizes the database
Options 1 & 3 run OK
BUT
Option 3 returns
Backup can not be performed on this database. This sub task is ignored
I have checked permissions etc but no joy
Any Ideas?
Our Tranasction Log is 55GB!!

Space is now beyond critical
DBCC LOGINFO shows all entries to stsus of 2

I need to popukate a list box with the tables in the database.
I believe listtables mayt do the trick but can find no reference to it in the help (access 2000)
I have created a report to run on the web.
The report works fine in client and publishes to the Web
successfully.
When I come to run it the process bar appears flashes as if running then i get an 'Application Error'.
The only bit of legible error text is
'logon error while connecting database'...

I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO MIGRATE AN APPLICATION FROM APPROACH 97 TO ACCESS 2000. IF I OPEN THE PROJECT IN ACCESS I LOSE ALL THE FORMS FROM APPROACH. IS THERE A MIGRATION FACILITY AVAILABLE ?
