Thanks John.
Ok, so if we want to use 8 as a replacement for 123-456, then how does this work? In your example it appears you are replacing the last 7 digits of the phone number, not the first six.
Essentially we want to dial 8 and that equals the first six digits of our remote office (ie...
John:
We'd have to go the 2nd route as the there is no tie between the 2 sites. The numbers are unique to our PBX, but we don't have a tie between the 2 sites.
So, what doe the code look like?
Thanks John!
Hello:
Here's my scenario. We want to be able to call one of our remote offices by dialing a number (let's say 8) followed by the 4 digit extension in the remote office.
Essentially we want to strip out the first six digits and replace them with one.
Is the DSC the way to do this? Is there...
We run a call center where our agents typically call our customers back and instead of showing their direct number, I would like to mask the call center DN's with our main 800 number.
Is this possible?
Ok, so here are 2 traces. The first is working just fine and hears the music on hold, while the 2nd trace does not.
The 1st trace is when I dial the DID number from my office phone.
The 2nd trace is when I dial the DID number from my SIP to TDM application that is hitting the same DID...

I see that I have 3 music routes, yet I have 4 PRI's. How do I define a new music trunk in a group?
For example:
If my new PRI route number is 10, how do I assign a music route to that route/group?
Thanks.
How can you find out which TN's belong to which route? Also, is there a way to find out which routes can send calls to one another?
Hopefully these aren't dumb questions, as I'm a relative newbie at thsi stuff.
Thanks everyone.
