Thanks, yup its a real pain. Let me know what you find. Incidentally I will be trashing and reloading everything on my PC next month (its well overdue!) so that will probably fix it. I will install NAV on first and then start reloading other software and see at what point it slows down.
I have just installed NAV2004 and whenever I have auto-protect enabled (which is and should be always) webpages take agesssss to load up. I have ADSL and without auto-protect enabled it takes about a second to load an average page but with auto-protect enabled they take over 10 seconds to load...
I have used the rule method before and it also doesnt seem to work unless Outlook is kept running in the forground too. I now use a program called AutoPrint by www.sperrysoftware.com. You still need outlook open but it works perfectly and there are other cool features in it too.
