    answer file madness

I figured it out. I was not getting the floppy in the drive fast enough. I was waiting for the CD to spin a while before I put in the floppy. I changed the boot order to cd first then floppy and I left both the cd and floppy in and it booted from CD and then read the floppy. Thanks

    Rebuilding my DNS???

I currently have 2 DNS servers running win2003 standard. It seems the guy before me has set these both up with primary zones. We occasionally have issues we think are related to DNS. I would like to rebuild these and make one with a primary zone and make the second a secondary zone of the...

(Wireless) Disassociated because sending station is leaving BSS

I have had it set like that most of the time. Today to experiment I have been picking freq's and leaving them on for a few hours to see if I still get the drops. I still do, they seem random. I removed the 1200 wap and put in a 1100 wap and got the same results. I now have the 1200 on one...

(Wireless) Disassociated because sending station is leaving BSS

I cant seem to find any other signal that would disrupt the 1200 WAP. I placed a laptop 2 feet from the WAP and after an hour and a half it dropped the signal for 13 seconds and then reaquired but another client that was roughly 15 feet away didnt drop the signal... My next question is, is the...

(Wireless) Disassociated because sending station is leaving BSS

The users are always within 20 feet of the WAP so I dont think they are walking out of range of it. I tried upgrading the IOS to 12.3.8 but that did not seem to help.

(Wireless) Disassociated because sending station is leaving BSS

I have a cisco 1231 WAP that averages 4 clients per hour on it. The clients get kicked off and on all day. I tried switching from the windows wireless client to the intel client but that had no effect. I pulled the 1231 and put in a new 1100 series and got the same thing. IOS version is...

    No sharing option on folders

Thanks for the fast reply! I didnt have a share tab in the C: drive. For some weird reason after turning it on the system still would not give me an option to share. I did a search and found a similar post about this, apparently win98 sometimes gets hosed and you have to uninstall all the...
