Your reply has me confused as we are using Mozilla 1.2.1. And transparency is not working. On MAC OSX (10) it does not work either. We have done everything that the macromedia site (URL you posted I found elsewhere as well), does nothing.

Thanks again! I guess he is getting there. We now have the flash "screen" in the middle of the jpeg background. Earlier he had the flash movie playing but it was not transparent. Our test system has Mozilla 1.2.1 so should support transparency.
