Adobe error - A temporary file could not be opened.

Thanks DoubleDIP, I had found that out before and had forgotten to update Tek Tips! It was really weird, now I can copy and delete things from Adobe in there and it works good. Adobe Tech Support actually stated that it was an issue with Illustrator, that if you save a document and move it...

I'd like to plug NIC1 into our primary switch and NIC2 into a secondary switch for redundancy, is there a way to use just one ip address and have the failover? Any suggestions would be great! thanks

Adobe error - A temporary file could not be opened.

I uninstalled everything and went to adobe 7.0 reader. It came up fine the first time, then after I close it, it won't open again, just hangs in taskmanager and never gets above 5,900K Mem usage - AcroRd32.exe. I kinda wish everyone would quit making .pdf's and just use html, wouldn't it make...

Is there a way in Visio to telnet or http to an IP addr of object?

Is that hard to do? I can see where I can add a new entry (define) under custom. What do you do after that to point it to Excel? Is there a white paper on how to do this. I'm not too smart. Joe

Is there a way in Visio to telnet or http to an IP addr of object?

I have been contacting SecureCRT from Vandyke and haven't been able to find out from them on how to point to the .ini file from a commandline so you can use hyperlink with Visio. I kinda wish they'd use a different session name instead of .ini I could associate SecureCRT to .ini files but then...

Is there a way in Visio to telnet or http to an IP addr of object?

I was able to do a hyperlink in Visio and it gives you 2 options. local file or address, you can either put in the filename of the session you want (if your telnet client supports it) or point it to either http://myswitch or telnet://myswitch. It seems to work well, now I just have to find a...

Is there a way in Visio to telnet or http to an IP addr of object?

Just curious to see if anyone has setup a way that you can telnet or http into an object. I thought it would be pretty handy to be able to right click and telnet into a switch or router right from Visio. Just an Idea, I didn't know if there was something built in or a third party?

    Bridging with Routers?

thanks Lambent! I mistyped my first bridge irp - should've been bridge irb I also needed to add the 2 bridge 1 protocol ieee and bridge 1 route ip commands, since its going to be on the same LAN the IP of the interface BVI1 should just have to be different and on the same subnet right, no...

    Bridging with Routers?

I am curious if the BVI1 interface IP address just has to be on the same subnet? or does it need to be the network address? I guess since it's bridging this interface it just has to be on the same subnet? I'm guessing here. The deal here is that we have a backup server that has to be on the...

    Bridging with Routers?

I have been given a few commands to bridge 2 different WAN sites because a software vendor says they have to be on the same LAN. the commands given are bridge irp interface FastEthernet0/1 bridge-group 1 interface ATM2/IMA1.2 point-to-point bridge-group 1 interface BVI1 ip address...

System Call Failed (11) Error reading File

This is happening on my file server - Windows 2003, it hangs on a few files and ends up killing my job before its over, is it not sophisticated enough to just go on when it gets to a file with a problem? - I have the user go in and remove the file but it just finds another one eventually. Is...
