We have a user who's using Softconsole 3.1.15 on a Windows XP system (I beleive it's SP2). The user has several BLF groups. The members in all BLF groups do not show status, such as when a member is off-hook, has VM, etc; it shows all members as "idle". Has anyone else encountered this...
Actually, now that I think of it, you don't have to upgrade the switch software; I had a client running 3.0 (44) on the PBX and 3.1 Phone Manager. It worked fine.
I'll still look for the Avaya docs., though. Should be interesting.
You might try uninstalling this version and installing a different one; I would recommend v. 3.1.13 (found on the IPO User 3.1.15 disk).
I had all kinds of issues with Phone Manager 3.0, on both Win2k and XP, but 3.1 seems to work well with those OS'es.

Yes, I looked at the config for the user; there are no shortcodes programmed. I'm going to monitor the switch and try to see what's going on that way when it occurs. I'll post anything interesting that I find.

Peter, when you write "functioncodes", do you mean "shortcodes"? The client doesn't have any user shortcodes set up. What is "*dcp"?
