We have an IPO 412 with PRI and a second PBX at another site (non Avaya PBX) the two sites can 4 digit dial between locations over a SIP Trunk. All is working well except for a small group of common area phones that have outbound call baring enabled as a user right.
The calls to the other PBX...
Tom, yes you could use the ARS code you mention.. except i need the telephone number to be the specific format mentioned above.
If i was just calling a 11 or 12 digit number or push just 1234@0.0.0.0 that would work, but i need it to be in the format of +1234567890;ext=1234@0.0.0.0 where 1234...
I am making calls from an IPO 412 running V5.0(15) via a sip trunk to another PBX.
When making a 4 digit extension call from the IPO I have a short code for extensions that are homed on the other PBX that points to the ARS table of the SIP Trunk like the following if the extension was 1234...
We have followed https://devconnect.avaya.com/public/download/interop/OCSR2-IPO-PSTN.pdf to configure call routing for a Lync deployment to make inbound and outbound calling from a PRI connected to an Avaya 412.
We are using a hybrid of Lync and Avaya handsets. Calling between the two...

bas1234, we don't have T.38 fax machines... and i don't know if the provider supports it or not... turned off ECM and also enabled re-invite with no success.
Looks like we'll just keep using RingCentral.com
We have calling provided by a local SIP provider. We have had great success with the voice calling via this provder but have run into issues with Faxing.
We have Tried both G711 and G729 compression with the same results... call goes out, the fax tone on the other end is heard fax machine...
cmnstr, i have an incoming call route built... it points to the hunt group... if there wasn't an icr then the call coming in wouldn't work when the night service was enabled for that hunt group... the issue only occurs in office hours when the receptionist doesn't pickup.
If the call is out of...
Greetings all...
I have two inbound hunt groups one hunt group works great second setup exactly (or so i thought) the same and on no answer i get "the extension number you are trying to reach is not in service"
If i set that hunt group to out of service then it routes correctly, so it appears...
tlpeter, i am not sure i understand what you are asking... but let me take another pass....
user A wants dial by name lookup for their name to route to User B's extension
A staff member wants his dial by name directory look-up to not call his desk, but rather this admin assistant's extension.
We have found putting zName as the user's name makes it pretty much impossible for someone to find them in the directory, but we would prefer to have them able to be looked...
Is there a shortcode that can be used in the ARS for the outbound caller ID settings?
I would like all calls except to 911 to show caller id 1234567890 and all calls to 911 to use caller ID of the DID.
Currently on our PRI outbound calls follow
Code Tele# Feature
N; Ns1234567890...
