A coleague of mine is trying to install additional fonts on his computer. He is able to install the fonts, but they disappear after a restart. I believe the fonts are true type and he is using Windows XP. Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you.

That did the trick. I was able to locate a program that was trying to startup but did not point to the appropriate file. I fixed the error and the window stopped opening.
