Accessing Windows shares over Cisco client VPN connection
Hello everyone! I'm having some trouble accessing Windows shares over a VPN connection using the Cisco client (v4.8). I am connecting to a PIX 501 witout trouble and I'm able to ping and ssh to machines on our LAN. I've tried mapping the shares to a drive using the IP address of the windows...- jme77

Upgrading HD - Use g4l, tar?
Hello all, I'm upgrading the drive in my linux server. Can I simply ghost my current drive and copy that to the new drive using g4l? Or maybe use tar? What would be the easiest way to accomplish this? Thanks! jason- jme77

Can't resolve DNS with remote VPN - PIX
I was testing this on a dialup connection, so the DNS servers were configured from the ISP. We have no DNS servers on our LAN. For the vpn group I hand out the same DNS servers used on our lan. jme -

Hello, I've setup our PIX 501 to accept remote VPN connections using the Cisco VPN client (v4.8.0). The client is configured for local LAN access. I can connect fine and access our office lan, but my laptop cannot resolve domain names while connected (I can access anything with an IP however)... -
