Windows 2000 Server ServeRaid Manager Download
It's been a while since I've been here, however I restarted my Netfinity 5500 8660-11u and I again have a defuct drive and no longer have SRmanager. The problem is that IBM seems to be giving me a run around on the download. Could someone please assit me with the link that I need??- JLHobby1

Ok---- So what will happen to the mirroring process, would I have to have two 120 HDD or could I set two partions on the single drive and mirror that way. And then I would just set the spare drive to slave. jl -

Defunct Drive
I booted the machine and removed the drive, which did not work so I downloaded the raidmngr and installed. Worked great and fixed the problem...... Thanks alot ibmtech65!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jl -
Hard Drive Config.
So if I understand this correctly my raid controller is and always will be RAID 1 level which means that I cannot make it raid 0. Then there is no other way to achive more "actual" storage space since the second drive is for mirroring--- unless I add more HDD's....????? jl -

Hello, I ran into a problem when my three year old pulled my primary drive from my netfinity 5500. There is a raid 1 in place and the mirrored drive is fine. The was no physical damage implemented to the defunct drive (as far as I know). So now I need to bring the drive back into the system... -
