I don't think that they are. I get a message: "request id is shipping-9466 (standard input)", but I get no reply for "lpstat -o" and if I look at "lpstat -p" it says that the printer is idle.

The device is showing up now if I do lpstat -p and -t.
It shows itself as enabled, accepting and idle.
lpsched is running.
