Internal calls are forwarded to the caller's VM

I have 2 extensions that, when called, I get forwarded to my own VM rather than their VM if they do not pickup. I see this came up before in thread940-1698820, but there was no resolution. Both extensions have been recently edited with the Web Admin Tool. Thanks John

    Enterasys

I appreciate that this is a Cisco Forum but we are looking at a LAN refresh and are looking at options. I have only worked with Cisco but we have an Enterasys Wireless system and their full set of management tools and I see a lot of good things with that company. We are also looking at...

    Layer2 vs Layer3

Thank you all for your feedback. Sorry it has take me so long to respond. Each building is typically <100 clients so we have lots of small VLANs. What I gather from all of your responses is that I should go to transparent mode and lock down my VLANs crossing links. I have played around with...

    Layer2 vs Layer3

Yes I am pruning but not manually. I had played with this in the past and found that even if I did pruning and "manually pruned" that I still could see all of my VLANs when I did a show vlan on an uplinked switch. I also saw that each uplinked switch still had an instance of spanning tree...

    Layer2 vs Layer3

Sorry, this is a long one. We have a flat layer 2 network with a single 6509 at the core. It's a collasped core so we are doing our routing on the same 6509. We have been running this way for 8 years now but have gotten a bit VLAN happy. We are a school and and it has become convienent to...

    MAC-AUTH-Bypass

I was assumeing it would be there in 12.1.EA22 if it was there in 12.1.EA5. No? Would they giveth and then taketh away?

    MAC-AUTH-Bypass

yeah I am running that version and do not see any mac-auth-bypass options at the interface. Sigh. I'm in rough shape.

    MAC-AUTH-Bypass

Our NAC works of the MAC-AUTH-BYPASS feature. I am trying to get this to work on our 2950s. Accourding to CISCO the feature was added to 12.1.5EA. I am running 12.1.22EA but do not see the functionality when I go to the port and do a dot1x ? Am I missing a global command or something? I...

    Roll over

I set FDN on the Execs phone to go to the Secs phone. That worked but no VM. When I enabled SFA on the Secs phone then I could call the exec, after 4 rings it would go to the Sec, after 3-4 more rings it went to the Exec's VM. Job Done!

    Roll over

Actually after reading GHTROUT's response again I just enabled SFA on the Secretary's phone and it worked fine. Thanks GHTROUT!

    Roll over

I guess I mean hunt. Anyway the link you sent me was for forwarding more then one step away from my original phone. I am only going one step.

    Roll over

Hi: I am trying to make hunting work on a phone. I have an executive that wants her phone to roll over to her secretary if she does not answer it or is on a call. I have this working by configuring FDN to go to the secretary. However, if the secretary does not answer it never goes to VM. If...

Change Number Display Opt 81c with TM.

I just found DDGA and it masks my extension. That will do the trick. Ultimate would be to have it report an alturnate extension such as our department main number. Any chance of that?
