I have an XP built in firewall that's it..........but that is switched off........should I uninstall IIS then re-install it with the firewall switched off?

I am having a real problem configuring my IIS web server so that people on the internet can access my ASP pages.
I have a default.asp page sat in a directory on my web server (on my own computer) which people cannot access. They put in my specific IP address e.g...
i've looked at the log file and i do not see any records for people outside trying to connect to my webserver......all I get is records for when I open the asp page. For some reason I can access the file on the webserver with no probelms at all but nobody outside can access anything...

It works ok now but the second column is
CHEMICAL PROPERTIES , the sql statement doesn't seem to like it when I have a space in between CHEMICAL and PROPERTIES. Do I have to put anything in between it in the Select statement?

Just one last one.....if I wanted to select more than one input to match to.....e.g Request.Form("input") and Request.Form("input2") how would I change my SQL statement?

I'm nearly there now, but the user could input anything into the input box (not just WATER), so the select statement needs to be the Request.Form("input") argument, whateverm the user types. I just can't get it to work????
