I have an HP 2000c color printer running off a W2K server.
All works fine but suddenly the optional tray isn't detected when printing from any PC on the network.
However, printing a test page by holding down the power button on the printer, it will pick up paper from the optional tray.
Any ideas...
When booting a laptop, i have to log into the domain, wait until the us robotics utility starts then i have to log off and on again to get the user scripts to run. Does anyone know any work around for this problem?

If you say the data wasn't important, did you format the disc before trying to install XP??...if so what did you use to format it and using what file system?
I have a PalmIIIe trying to sync with lotus notes files using Easysync 4.2
When specifying the location were the mail file is located, it doesnt detect the server.
Ive done the exact setup on another PC and the server is detected.
Any ideas what it can be?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I have an HP960c and it seems to be printing very lightly(only black ink) colour is fine.
I just replaced the ink cartridges for both the colour and black ink. The first test page seems fine but about 2 days later i started having this problem.
Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance.
When trying to print from the manual feed. The paper goes through about 3inch. Then gets stuck.
I noticed that if i push the paper in a bit, it wont get stuck.
Any ideas on what i can try to solve this??
I use arcserve 2000 for backup. my friday backup uses 2 tapes. My problem is, if i don't erase both tapes before, it won't accept the 2nd tape when propted.
Does anyone have a solution to this? other than erasing the tapes before begining the backup.
