This interface has a media module and did support either token ring or ethernet depending on how it was loaded.
I have the same box on 5.0.6. I added the EFS 5.42a to it and picked:

in netconfig I see:

I am having a problem like this.
Sar trying to run in the backgroud says:
/usr/bin/cpusar: This is not an MPX system
Mpstat says:
t6super - root($0) -> mpstat
mpstat: /dev/at1: open: No such file or directory
Yet the it does appear to be there.

Some how you are having a communications outage that is being restored. Try running a ping of your unix box from the PC's and see if that keeps them alive...ping -n 10000 ipaddressofunixbox. Run this while you are telenetted in and see if the problem disappears. If it does you are looking at...
I am runing 5.0.6 and after installing it appears that only one CPU works. ANy ideas on this? It says "This is not an MPX system" yes it seems to wake up the other three processors. It has four and worked great under 5.0.5.
PII 450 Processors.
