Is the DVD player a Yamaha dvd, if s you may find that it is not supported under win2k.. if not check the latest HCL at microsoft to see if its on the list. if it is on the list check your drivers( make sure they are for win2k, or NT5)

You need to make a login account on the windows 2k machine for all the other machines connected to the Lan, then you need to map the printer to the machines that require print sharing. What you may also need to do is load the drivers for that printer on all the machines so it can send the data...

I have tried to re-install office 2000 premium multiple times from scratch, even goiing as far as to re-format the whole machine then, re load windows2000pro and start again with no other programs loaded. has anybody else got any ideas. Thanks for the idea, but im sorry to say it don't work. :(
