I'm not having any luck compiliing apache2.2.17 on a solaris 10 x86_64 bit machine. Due to DOD STIGS, apache was removed and cannot be install using pkgadd
My configure is as follows:
./configure --prefix=/src/apache2 --enable-64bit --enable-64bit-libs --enable-lib64 --build=x86_64-pc-solaris2...
I have the same problem in the past with a database program, the manufactor said that the only way to release the port was to reboot. Not the best answer, but it worked.
When we ftp to a linux box from a HP-UX box and perform a "dir" of a file it shows a time stamp of 13:59 but when a ls -l is performed on the linux box the time stamp is 8:59. The correct time stamp is 8:59, why does ftp dir show a 5 hour increase?
Prior Admin took root password with them.. Do not have emergency recovery disk. SCO Unixware 2.01, is their a way to "break" the boot cycle to enter single user mode? Or is their another way to get into the system so I can change root password?
I need to redirect cgi-bin/blah to https://mysite.com/cgi-bin/blah

I have a link on a web page to my ftp site <a href="ftp://myftpsite"> but I get a "This page can not be displayed" error, if I reload the ftp site comes up. Any ideas?
Glen,
What XP registry setting did you have to change, I'm having problems getting my XP machines to login to secured directories on my HP-UX box, they login fine to the unsecured directories.
