I need to open this cartridge and try to refill. Came to this printer (Hp 656c) after a year or so of no use. It worked fine at first but now it seems the color is fading. I trashed another HP printer because the circuits failed, but I was left with a few refills of ink and would...

Having trouble connecting a DeskJet 722c to an older computer that has had the drives re-formatted and a clean install of Win ME. Got the latest drivers from HP. Using a parallel connection. This machine has used this printer both directly and more recently on a network. I just...

A refilled HP 23 cartridge quit printing yellow, I cleaned, primed etc. still no go, injected ink into all three colors and tried again. No matter what the yellow would not print. Quit with the old cartridge and installed a new one (slightly out of date, several months) and still no...
Thanks for your reply Blackburn, I finally (after hours of messing around) figured out how to do it. I was trying to set the tabs on the top ruler (view\show ruler) by clicking down in the document. I didn't know about the ruler that would show up in the body of the document. When I got it to...

For some reason when I have the subject tool activated it "red underlines" everything in the document and if I de-activate it nothing is "red underlined". Hasn't always been this way. I like the feature but the underlines all over the page are annoying. Spell...

No, when I uncheck the box for System Restore and go back to the Hard Disk tab the slider is still greyed out, then when I close and go back the box for System Restore is checked again.

My problem started with an overloaded system drive, I was getting messages about insufficient disk space. Finally found out that the "_Restore" folder had accumulated 8,700 mbs of Temp files. I tried, at someone's suggestion, reducing the disk space alloted to "System...

Thanks for all your replies, turns out that somehow I'd managed to get the address book super-minimized and the logo on the lower bar was apparently hidden behind something else. A reply on another forum told me how to bring it up and close it out properly.

Thanks for the reply, I tried everything you suggested back when I asked the question with no results and finally tried "Word" and was successful the first try.

I'm not able to print an envelope with the Deskjet 722C using WordPerfect 8 "Format envelope" function. No matter how I set the settings etc. it keeps printing bottom to top on the envelope instead of side to side.
Anyone have any help???

Yesterday afternoon when I tried to access the address book Word Perfect froze up and I had to ctrl/alt/delete to close it out. Happened 5 or 6 times. Happened when I tried to access an address when formating an envelope.
(1) Doesn't it sound like perhaps a file has become...

Thanks Wiz for your reply. I had tried all those suggestions with no luck. It appears that the HP DeskJet 722C does not support network printing. Late yesterday evening I found a link to a guy's (Ted Felix) procedure "Networking the HP722C". I tried and was successful...

Hi all, I hope someone can help.
I have two printers HP5P and HP Deskjet 722C installed on a "main" computer in a 3 machine LAN. The two printers are using LPT1 through a Belkin Dataswitch and have worked very well for well over a year.
Everything, including the HP5P...

I keep two separate books in my WP address book, business and personal. Went in a few minutes ago and my personal book was gone. The other book (business) was intact. Does anyone have a clue about what might have happened or, more importantly, where it might be so that I may get it...
