Well maybe his cd burner isnt working or installed right i dont know i have xp home and i have never had a problem burning.

I am looking for a preferbally free program to lock my computer so i can limit what is used with a password.I have looked around but i have never used such software before do any of you have any personal experiance with one.

I have the same keyboard and i havent had a problem with it but i hate having to change the batteries in my mouse it tends to run threw them at least once a month.

It sounds like you need to get a new video card your friend has a good suggestion on trying to blow the dust off it first.But i have a freind who rund a 8mb vid card on his system and the colors are often distorted.Your problem could also be how many hertz your monitor hertz your vid card is...

If your getting windows xp you can buy a data link cable and transfer all of your files over.

Did you put your take his driver files off of it becuse if you hooked it up to his then you acuiered his drivers for all of his hardware.

It could be that your isp was to busy.Did you get any kind of error message?

Actually i have a p4 1.8 but i built a amd xp 1.7 for my brother and i am more impressed with his over mine.
